What is BAMIT K-12 Pi day?

The Dearborn STEM Academy (DSA) Pi-Day Event is a one-day STEM tournament and awareness
day for Boston-area elementary, middle and high school students.

Our Objective

  • To increase the Fun Factor of STEM for students by engaging in the engineering design process
    in the context of “play”;
  • Expose students to adults, especially BAMIT members who are currently pursuing or working in
    the STEM fields; (COVID restrictions do not allow for this in 2022.)
  • Contribute to the school’s STEM curriculum, educator capacity and learning outcomes through
    collaboration;
  • Impact the culture of the participating schools by motivating
